Department Of Defense is Hiring an Intelligence Specialist (Staff Management) with Security Clearance Near Austin, TX

Duties * Serve as the lead Human Resources, Personnel and Force Management specialist for Army Futures Command's (AFC) Directorate of Intelligence and Security's (DoIS). * Maintain liaison with counterparts within AFC, AFC Direct Reporting Unit's (DRU) intelligence sections, and external intelligence organizations to ensure coordination of approaches to AFC's human resourcing, personnel and force management. * Assess future developments related to Directorate programs and activities to advise leaders of personnel and force management challenges, risks and opportunities. * Manage the Directorate's responsibilities for evaluations, including military, civilian and contract personnel. * Produce appropriate tracking mechanisms to ensure awards are accounted for and completed in a timely manner. * Conduct regular reviews of financial records, programmatic activities, and performance metrics and advises Directorate leadership on a routine basis. * Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other AFC directorates, AFC Direct Reporting Unit's (DRU) intelligence sections, and intelligence production centers and external organizations. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. * Two year trial/probationary period may be required. * In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance based on a TS investigation/Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI). * May require Temporary Duty (TDY) travel to locations both within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS) up to 25% of the time. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-12). Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
