Duties * Position requires the utilization of extensive knowledge and understanding of acquisition requirements and practices. * Incumbent contributes to the development of US Army Corps of Engineers guidelines, regulations, and policies in various areas of acquisition policy/initiatives. * Conduct periodic reviews of contracts and purchase actions within predetermined categories based on dollar value, method of acquisition, and other factors. * Participate in acquisition planning, contract formation, partnering, administration, resolution of disputes, and claims by means of issuing Contracting Officer Decisions (CODs) and subsequent contract modifications.
