This position is located in the Special Events Program (SEP), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The DHS SEP coordinates Federal response activities for special events by facilitating the interagency Special Events Working Group (SEWG), overseeing the National Special Events Data Call, coordinating the selection and support of appointed Federal Coordination Teams (FCTs), and providing special event situational awareness to DHS Senior Leaders, the SEWG, and the National Operations Center (NOC). The SEP staff engages in direct outreach to local, state, and federal event planners, executes the administrative oversight and the facilitation of all coordination activities within the SEWG.Full Time
