**Job Summary:**
Fuel Assistance Worker (FAW) – $16.00 per hour
35 hours per week – 22 week assignment
Aid Suffolk county residents with energy related assistance. Conduct telephone interviews; determine eligibility for energy related benefits; Complete forms, organize files, input and retrieve data from computer programs; perform related duties as required. Applicant must have graduated from a standard senior high school or possess a high school equivalency AND must have six (6) months of experience in a position that involves substantial public contact. Education beyond high school may be substituted for experience. Fifteen (15) credits is equal to six (6) months
