Duties As a OPERATIONS PLANNING SPECIALIST at the GS-0301-13 some of your typical work assignments may include: * Serve as an expert advisor and program/project lead for analysis and planning activities within the Future Operations Division. * Ensure internal JECC planning and procedures remain consistent with planning systems such as the Joint Planning Process (JPP) and the Joint Strategic Planning System (JSPS). * Serve as an advisor to senior management at JECC headquarters and its subordinate elements on activities and plans related to the future operations. * Provide authoritative advice to senior management; remain apprised of and provide guidance through evaluation of new or revised strategy and policy documents from higher level organizations. * Prepare and present various briefings including strategic reports, decision briefs, responses to queries, justifications, and background papers on the technical aspects in areas of expertise and assignment.
