Department of the Army is Hiring a Security Specialist (Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection) with Security Clearance Near Hawthorne, NV

Duties * Administers the command Integrated Security Program developing policies, procedures and methods for planning, coordinating, conducting, and interfacing different Force Protection aspects. * Analyzes events and trends to formulate concepts, measures, doctrine and procedures for dynamic environments. * Develops and implements policies, procedures, standards, training and methods, ensuring program compliance with Government Statutes and DoD/DA requirements * Prepares procedures, budget, and related guidance used by protective forces. * Establishes a training program to identify terrorist threats and protective systems for all installation personnel. * Designs exercises to integrate Antiterrorism tasks and program objectives, synchronize operations, test plans and solidify established Memoranda of Agreement (MOA). * Represents HWAD at conferences and meetings, formulating program guidance and implementing a variety of methods to meet security program objectives. * Serves as the Antiterrorism Officer and Program Manager for various programs and facilitates. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. * This position requires the incumbent obtain the following core SPeD Certification: Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) within their first two years of employment. * Specialist will be Anti-Terrorism Officer (ATO) Advanced Course certified IAW AR 525-13. IAW DoDI 2000.16; must attend a comprehensive AT/FP exercise or attend AT/FP training annually. * Required to sign a DA Form 5019-R and must pass urinalysis testing, as required prior to appointment and periodically thereafter. * Certificate of completion of the IMCOM or US Army Military Police School (USAMPS) Antiterrorism Training Course Level II. * Subject to 24-hour recall to perform emergency response duties. May include tour(s) of duty on weekends or nights to support training for or during actual emergency operations. * Position requires employee to obtain and maintain a valid state and government passenger vehicle driver license. * Travel outside local commuting area may be required up to approximately 25% of duty time. * Position is considered emergency essential. Failure to remain in position may result in separation for the efficiency of the Federal Service. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
