Duties * Analyze, assess, and clearly communicate program objectives, policies, operations, and resource data to ensure efficiency in the development and execution of the command's SHARP-related prevention activities. * Incumbent has the responsibility for initiating, designing, monitoring, reviewing and assessing existing SHARP Program prevention activities and providing recommendations/conclusions to the Supervisory Prevention Program Manager. * Provide technical and policy assistance in resolving problem areas. * During compliance reviews, assess the extent, adequacy, and rationale of organizational interaction/liaison between agencies/activities that are designed to support the SHARP Prevention Program. * Responsibilities include providing guidance for the continual development, implementation, administration, promotion and revision of prevention goals, objectives, and initiatives related to the SHARP Program Requirements Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. * Three year trial/probationary period may be required. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security clearance. * Requires successful completion of OSD and/or Army-level prevention training course and completion of all requirements within 90 days of being in the position. * Position is Mission Essential. * Individuals will be screened against the following: the Army Family Advocacy Central Registry, Army Criminal Investigation Command/Crime Records Center, * Previous Employer references, local police records, records maintained in the Army Military Human Resources Record and/or Official Personnel Folder including adverse action files, Army Inspector General files, * Army Substance Abuse Program and other records maintained on the installation that may be relevant. Individuals found to have derogatory information in any check may not be eligible for this position and may be removed from further consideration. * This position may require temporary duty (TDY) business travel up to 10% of the time. * Position requires working overtime on evenings, weekends, and holidays. * Incumbent must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license and have the ability to operate a motor vehicle. Degree: Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in behavioral or social science, or related disciplines appropriate to the position, such as Psychology, Counseling, and Human Services. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR B. Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. OR C. Experience: Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one-year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by planning, execution/coordination, and evaluation of prevention activities (policies, programs, and practices) in the area of sexual harassment/sexual assault; training and implementation of comprehensive prevention activities that address individual, interpersonal, organizational, and community factors that contribute to sexual harassment and sexual assault. Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
