Department of The Navy is Hiring a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST with Security Clearance Near Naval Base, VA

Summary You will serve as a Supply Management Specialist in the Supply Management Department of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK. Duties * You will plan, organize and direct long range Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF) studies and forecast for plant health utilizing physical inventories, inventory accuracy, warehousing, business Lines of Effort (LOEs) and Internal Control Aids (ICAs). * You will serve as the primary liaison Representing RSO Leadership during engagements and ongoing initiatives. * You will enact new and evolving inventory policy to ensure initial compliance; and conduct periodic tests to ensure continued site compliance with key operations. * You will conduct assigned reviews, inventory investigations and studies of supply methods, procedures and operations. * You will provide regular reports to leadership on the status of various projects and any findings or issues that may impact inventory validity or audit compliance. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Supply Management Specialist specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying a knowledge of inventory control processes including the procedures for receipt, issue, inventory, storage and quality assurance requirements to enacting new and evolving inventory policy to ensure initial compliance. I have experience utilizing automated supply databases to conduct reviews, inventory investigations and studies of supply methods, procedures and operations to improve supply methods. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Providing regular reports to leadership on the status of various projects and any findings or issues that may impact inventory validity or audit compliance; 2) Forecasting for plant health utilizing physical inventories, inventory accuracy, warehousing/re-warehousing, business Lines of Effort (LOEs) and Internal Control Aids (ICAs) ; 3) Implementing and ensuring compliance with all inventory accuracy, process control and audit readiness requirements; 4) Serve as the primary liaison Representing leadership during engagements and ongoing initiatives.
