Description
The Inside Sales Representative handles interactions between the customer and Depatie Fluid Power at the time of sale, and thereafter. You will work with outside sales and other members of the team to grow existing customers, create new customers and increase to profitability while creating a positive customer experience. Premier customer service adds value to our products and builds enduring relationships with our customers through on time delivery.
Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist Parker Store as needed with walk up customers, phone calls, and assistance in resolving product identification questions.
Generate new and repeat sales by providing timely product and technical information.
Perform accurate customer order entry, quotations (price, delivery, and terms), stock checks, order changes and expedites, return authorizations.
Resolve customer questions of product identification, recommendations, and application.
Correspond with Suppliers on cost and delivery requests, purchase order placement, order changes and expedites, return authorizations and identifying new supply sources.
Build relationships with outside sales staff to deliver the best possible service to our customers.
Primary inside sales responsibility for assigned customer accounts requiring special attention.
Work closely with outside sales representative to provide best possible service to these accounts, including inventory analysis and on time delivery.
Develop a strong working relationship with the customer/supplier contacts.
Make recommendations to improve customer satisfaction
Product Specialist assignments may require demonstrated technical competency on assigned products.
QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Certification or College Degree in Related Field
Proficiency with Computer Based Business Systems
