Candidates will be responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Candidates must have a NYS Inspectors License and candidates with ASE Certifications are preferred. Qualified candidates must own their own tools and must have strong computer and diagnostic skills. Job Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license in good standing - abstract must be provided
• Must be computer literate
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend written instructions
• Ability to learn new technology
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• At least 1 year of experience working in a production environment
• NYS Inspector's License

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and perform partial or complete overhaul of engines, transmissions, differentials
• Use gauges, special tools, and specialized equipment to diagnose mechanical failure or problems
• Make wheel alignments and balance wheels
• Install and/or adjust brakes, heaters and defrosters
• Replace worn or broken parts
• Operate vehicles to diagnose problems and validate that repairs have been completed
• Construct, maintain, or service shop equipment as necessary
• Repair gasoline and diesel engines
• Repair equipment and machinery as necessary
• Write up summaries of work completed

Flat Rate: $20 - 32
