Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
As a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will be responsible for providing quality care to patients in their homes. You will work closely with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive personalized care and attention. You will be responsible for observing and recording patients vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
Provides direct patient care in their homes under the supervision of a licensed nurse
Assists with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Observes and records patients vital signs, intake/output, and other important information about the patient
Administers medications as necessary, according to the doctors orders
Assists with range of motion exercises, ambulation, and transfers
Offers emotional support and companionship to patients and families
Maintains a clean and safe environment for patients
Maintains patient confidentiality and privacy at all times
Completes necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently
Participates in ongoing education and training to improve job knowledge and skills
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Active CNA certification
Prior experience working in home health preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compassionate and patient
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Reliable transportation
