The
Director, Business Analytics is responsible for delivering the business analytics solutions and insights needed to deliver actionable solutions and recommendations that drive business growth and operational efficiency.
Essential Functions:- Establish and orchestrate an overarching strategy for operational analytics, data visualization, and data analytics across the organization
- Utilize KPIs, business performance data, and industry trends to develop tools, reports, and models to support operational business decisions
- Develop business processes and strategies, establish best practices, and evaluate business systems to provide recommendations for improvements
- Lead and mentor a team of business analysts, data scientists, and data engineers to deliver high-quality analytics solutions
- Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to optimize processes, improve decision-making, and enhance business performance
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align strategic priorities pertaining to reporting and analytics initiatives across the organization
- Formulate strategies to harness data for operational metrics, advanced data analysis, and sophisticated modeling, facilitating the resolution of complex business challenges
- Spearhead data governance procedures to uphold data integrity, optimize information management, and enhance performance
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in business analytics and recommend innovative approaches to enhance the organization's analytical capabilities
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills:- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and systems including UKG, KPA, BI, custom reporting and/or other workforce management and data analysis tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey insights to business leaders
- Exceptional business acumen with a results-oriented mindset and steadfast commitment to driving business impact with analytics
- Strong business analysis skills to identify areas of opportunity
- Proven track record of execution relating to data-driven initiatives
- Must have strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours. We operate 24/7/365
Education and Experience:- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, computer science, or a related field; or any equivalent combination of relevant education, skills, training, and experience
- 7 years' experience in data analysis, business analysis/operations, or related roles; developing and leading a team
- Experience with government subcontracts preferred
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to travel withing the Continental United States (CONUS)
- Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, a background check, after accepting a conditional offer of employment
