We're looking for a Sales Executive to support our UK sales team. DEPT® are a pioneering, global tech and marketing agency. We help our clients stay ahead by producing some of the most progressive work in the world.
Job PurposeAs part of the sales operations team and working closely with the UK marketing team, you will be responsible for achieving lead generation and new business targets by keeping our inbox and CRM system clean and staying on top of our leads. .
You will support the sourcing of new business leads on an ongoing and consistent basis, helping to nurture them into tangible opportunities together with the New Business & Growth team in line with agreed targets. You will also be responsible for qualifying inbound and marketing qualified leads against specified criteria.
To be successful in this role, it is imperative to have an inquisitive, commercially focused mind. You must research to fully understand a prospect’s business, and build personalised engagement strategies for the New Business and Growth team that demonstrate DEPT®’s capabilities. As part of your role, you will also support events and have a friendly and consultative approach to selling.
You must be very organised and conscientious, have a passion for clean, complete data, reports, dashboards and data entry and have no hesitation in chasing other colleagues to keep the system clean.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the qualification of marketing qualified leads against specified criteria
  • Owning the general sales operations across the UK/I business and making sure the CRM (Salesforce) is kept up to date for reporting
  • Build and manage outreach campaigns in our sales enablement software to agreed target lists, constantly monitoring engagement and acting accordingly
  • Monitoring, cleaning up, and routing inbound requests from the global sales inbox.
  • Demonstrate being a trusted first point of contact for new business leads to conduct a thorough qualification process, providing a detailed handover to the relevant pitch team
  • Can collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute engagement strategies to help nurture prospects into tangible opportunities
What We Are Looking ForEssential:
  • Have a few years experience working in a similar role
  • Have experience in lead generation for the digital sector/an agency
  • Have excellent written communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Always apply a confident, can-do attitude
  • Although full training will be given, the experience of Salesforce (or a similar sales database) would be beneficial

  • Are confident using a full range of communication techniques, including telephone calls, email, LinkedIn etc. to build engagement
