Description: Dermatology Associates, the leading dermatology practice in the Tri-Cities region, is currently seeking a full-time Billing Support Specialist-Float (starting pay $16/hr) at our Kingsport office to join our team.
General Duties: The selected candidate will assure timely filing of insurance claims for maximum reimbursement of charges and follow up on any errors in payments. The candidate will also be responsible for daily management of past due patient accounts and attempts to recover aging outstanding balances.
Qualifications: Successful candidates will possess excellent communication ability, exceptional customer service skills and a team player attitude. Prior medical office experience a plus and customer service-related experience highly preferred.
