Full time medical assistant in busy, warm, collegial dermatology practice. Our medical assistants receive onsite dermatology medical assistant training in all aspects of clinical dermatology (medical, surgical, cosmetic).

Responsibilities;

· Take patient’s medical history and write medical chart notes

· Assist with patient education

· Assist in surgical procedures (including phlebotomy and injections)

· Assist in cosmetic procedures

· Call patients to discuss laboratory and biopsy results; write prescription refills

· Sterilize surgical instruments; prepare exam rooms

Requirements;

· Certified Medical Assistant (associate degree preferred)

· 3 years of medical assistant experience

· Excellent communication skills

· Ability to work well with physicians and anticipate their needs

· Well-organized with attention to detail

· Treats patients and coworkers with respect

· Ability to work as a team player
