Job Description:
As the General Manager of the firm, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our operations. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business, with a primary focus on sales and recruiting across five states. We are looking for an individual with a proven track record in both areas, preferably within the staffing industry. Your leadership skills, strategic mindset, and passion for excellence will be essential as you lead our team to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strong leadership to the sales and recruiting teams, setting clear goals and objectives and fostering a culture of excellence.
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our client base.
Oversee the recruiting process, ensuring that our team identifies and matches top talent with the right job opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their staffing needs and providing tailored solutions.
Monitor key performance metrics and implement strategies to optimize performance and achieve targets.
Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Manage the budget and financial performance of the agency, allocating resources effectively to meet financial targets.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field or comparable staffing experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in general sales and recruiting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and candidates.
Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Certification in staffing or recruiting (e.g., Certified Staffing Professional) is a plus.
