Desert Hospitality Management, LLC is Hiring a Receiving/Purchasing Clerk - Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Near Tucson, AZ
ScopeInspects and receives all deliveries, according to hotel standards.
Primary ResponsibilitiesØ Inspects for any discrepancies to be noted immediately.
Ø Process departmental and interdepartmental requisitions in accordance to hotel procedures.
Ø Receives and ships all guest packages.
Ø Stocks storeroom and refrigerated storage fully, first in/first out rules.
Ø Cleans and maintains associated work areas. Monitors food requisitions. Notifies supervisors of incidents or conflicts that affect normal business operations and guest services.
Ø Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
Ø Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
Ø Follows company policies and procedures.
This person will typically lift and/or carry items as much as 75 pounds and pull and/ or push items weighing as much as 250 pounds.
The person in this position has some opportunities to utilize problem-solving abilities.
Communication skills are used a significant portion of the time when interacting with employees and vendors.
Reading and writing abilities are used often when compiling orders and inventories, as well as to document day to day activities.
