Design Group Americas is Hiring a Clamp Forklift Operator - 1st shift Near Byhalia, MS

Job Description

SHIFT: 6am-4:30pm / Monday - Thursday
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Moves product throughout warehouse utilizing material handling equipment (a.k.a. Powered Industrial Trucks)
Scans/ stages product for shipments
Unloads/ loads trucks
Pulls and processes various types of order, apply custom labels.
Physical movement of inventoried materials will be accompanied with appropriate Syspro transactions using hand-held scanning equipment.
Assist with cleanup of areas when not in operation.
Remove trash from department as needed.
Assist with cycle counts.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Complete vehicle inspections daily
Work overtime as required to meet customer expectations.
Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
Must be licensed to operate a roll clamp forklift and sit down forklift (a.k.a. Powered Industrial Trucks) with demonstrated proficiency.
Proficient with utilizing Syspro systems, both hand-held and PC configured
Must have basic math skills.
Must be able to frequently lift 50lbs.
Must be able to grasp, push and pull.
Must be able to stand, bend, squat, climb and reach above shoulder level for long periods of time.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must abide by all company policies and procedures.
Must be able to interact with Leadership and co-workers professionally.
Must be able to comply with Powered Industrial Truck manufacturer's safety specifications including personal protective equipment and weight limit guidelines. The specifications are subject to change at any time and at the discretion of the manufacturer of the equipment.

ATTENDANCE:

Regular attendance is an expectation of performance to ensure adequate staffing and meet expected productivity throughout the organization; employees will be held accountable for adhering to their workplace schedule
Will be required to work overtime as needed
