Design Ready Controls is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct inspections, tests, and measurements to verify product conformity to specifications.
- Perform receiving inspections to ensure incoming materials meet quality standards.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
- Identify and resolve quality issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Administer: Read and understand training tools and share knowledge with employees.
- Develop: Implement and validate work instructions.
- Define: Identify and report quality issues to management.
- Maintain: Update and manage metrics boards.
- Construct: Create charts and graphs using Microsoft Excel.
- Assist: Contribute to establishing and implementing best practices.
- Communicate: Collaborate with production teams and supervision to identify and correct non-conformances.
- Perform: Conduct internal audits of the Quality Management System (ISO 9001 certification required).
- Calibrate: Perform calibrations and maintain calibration records.
- Other Duties: Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
- Safety: Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all safety regulations.
- Customer Focus: Promote a customer-centric approach throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in quality assurance.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Applicable post-high school training or significant equivalent experience.
- Experience working in an ISO environment.
- Knowledge of Lean tools.
- Ability to problem-solve and research.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to perform repetitive inspection tasks and document results.
- Ability to identify improvement opportunities and take action.
