CLIENT SUCCESS MANAGER

The Client Success Manager position is critical to Designalytics’ team approach in securing, servicing, retaining, and growing relationships with current and future clients. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter who relishes taking ownership of the job at hand. This position enables Designalytics' sales team to deliver and showcase the full value of Designalytics' suite of solutions to current customers and new prospects.

The Client Success Manager (CSM) is responsible for partnering with sales leaders to provide excellent customer service, project-manage initiatives for current clients, and support the sales team’s prospecting efforts by executing email campaigns to potential new clients.

This role has two primary objectives:

  • PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOR CURRENT CLIENTS: In partnership with Designalytics’ cross-functional teams, this individual is expected to leverage strong interpersonal and analytical skills to educate and assist our clients, drive further awareness of Designalytics' solutions and deliver value through insights. The CSM is expected to provide timely and thorough responses to ad-hoc client research requests by engaging all appropriate Designalytics’ teams, products, and assets.
  • SALES/PROSPECTING SUPPORT FOR POTENTIAL NEW CLIENT ACQUISITION: Under the guidance of sales leaders, the CSM is expected to ideate and execute email campaigns that will pique the interest of new clients and generate meetings for sales leaders. This requires a creative and strategic mindset (what insights or offers will be most compelling to potential clients?), strong written communication skills, and some fluency with technology/a willingness to learn new systems (e.g., email marketing software, CRMs, basic Photoshop skills, etc.).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage day-to-day client communications including research scoping/managing projects, gathering inputs (including light image editing when required), answering follow-up questions, and ensuring timely delivery of results
  • Respond to client inquiries by turning research findings into actionable insights and commentary that speak to our clients' business initiatives
  • Build strong relationships across several internal teams to provide best-in-class customer service
  • Collaborate with sales teams to strategize and prepare for client presentations
  • Strategize on best client service practices for Designalytics’ business to drive renewal rates and expand new business with current clients
  • Ideate, craft, and execute prospecting email campaigns on behalf of sales leaders
  • Track prospecting efforts/sales analytics at new target accounts and assist in developing new strategies to reach the right stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills
  • Desire to help people and problem-solve with a passion and focus on customer service
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Comfortable speaking directly with clients
  • Have a sales orientation (i.e., willing to craft and send emails to cold prospects with the intent of getting them interested in Designalytics’ solutions)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and be detail-oriented
  • Generally high comfort level with technology and willingness to learn new software applications
  • Experience using online tools/databases, including CRMs (Hubspot preferred), email marketing software, prospecting management and analytics software, etc.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Basic fluency with Photoshop is ideal, but not required
  • Minimum of 1-2 years professional experience in a research, sales, client success, account / project management, or client service role

  • COMPENSATION: $50,000 - $65,000, commensurate with experience
  • LOCATION: Chicago, San Diego, Boston, or remote
