Detroit Engineered Products (DEP) is Hiring a Warehouse Supervisor(Automotive) Near Morrow, GA
- The Warehouse Supervisor is expected to coach, mentor, and motivate a work group of UAW-represented hourly employees to deliver Best-in-Class Performance, Customer Service, and KPIs.
- A Warehouse Supervisor would have the following responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Safety
- Quality
- Productivity and Efficiency
- Direct Supervision of UAW represented hourly employees
- Timekeeping of hourly direct reports
- Analyze root causes and utilize countermeasures to effectively resolve day-to-day workplace challenges
- Enforce Standards of Conduct within the PDC
- Drive continuous improvement projects and processes to deliver the KPIs.
- KPIs include, but are not limited to: Safety, Housekeeping, Overall Quality, Errors, Shortages, Wrong Parts Picked, On Time Delivery, Damage, Efficiency, Productivity, Costs, etc.
- REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years warehouse supervisory experience preferred
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and handle numerous responsibilities simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and basic warehouse management computer skills
- Ability to work all shifts, start times and OT as required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
