Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with a strong focus on simulations and embedded development to join our team in the aerospace/defense industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, proficiency in simulation tools, and hands-on experience with embedded systems development. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test innovative solutions for complex aerospace and defense systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Simulation and Modeling:

• Develop and implement simulation models for electrical systems and components using industry-standard tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, SPICE, etc.
• Perform system-level simulations to predict performance, optimize designs, and troubleshoot issues.
• Analyze simulation results and present findings to stakeholders.

Embedded Systems Development:

• Design, develop, and test embedded systems, including microcontroller and FPGA-based solutions.
• Write and debug firmware and software for embedded applications using C, C , VHDL, or Verilog.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate embedded solutions with electronic circuits and systems.

Aerospace/Defense Applications:

• Ensure designs meet industry standards and regulations for aerospace and defense applications.
• Conduct reliability and performance testing of electrical and embedded systems in accordance with military specifications (MIL-SPEC) and aerospace standards.
• Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and project planning sessions.

Project Management and Documentation:

• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for simulation and embedded development projects.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals and reports for government and defense contracts.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on simulations and embedded systems.
• Proficiency in simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, SPICE, or equivalent.
• Strong programming skills in C, C , VHDL, or Verilog for embedded systems development.
• Experience with microcontroller and FPGA design and implementation.
• Knowledge of aerospace and defense industry standards and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
• Experience with high-reliability systems and safety-critical applications.
• Familiarity with MIL-SPEC and DO-254/DO-178C certification processes.
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C).
