Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate individual to join our team as a Service Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Your primary focus will be on program development, budgeting, supervision, and relationship management.
Duties:
- Develop and implement programs to meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities
- Create and manage budgets for programs and services
- Supervise and manage a team of direct support professionals
- Coordinate and monitor service delivery to ensure quality and compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with community organizations and agencies to enhance service options
- Conduct assessments to determine the needs of individuals and develop individualized service plans
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to individuals and their families
- Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to service plans as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to services provided
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Strong program development and management skills
- Knowledge of budgeting principles and practices
- Excellent supervisory and leadership abilities
- Ability to build positive relationships with individuals, families, and community partners
- Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles is a plus
