Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the culinary arts, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong background in food production and kitchen management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily food service operations, including food production, inventory management, and quality control
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper food handling procedures and customer service
- Manage the Aloha POS system for order processing and payment transactions
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for efficient kitchen operations
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and control costs
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and promotions
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner
Experience
- Proven experience in food production, kitchen management, and staff training
- Strong knowledge of Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Familiarity with casual dining environments and industry best practices
- Certification in food safety and sanitation is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
