Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, conducting audits, and ensuring accurate stock levels to support efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels
- Monitor inventory movements and reconcile discrepancies
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues
- Utilize data analysis skills to optimize inventory management processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve order fulfillment efficiency
- Implement process improvements to enhance inventory control procedures
Skills
- Strong data analysis skills to interpret inventory data effectively
- Familiarity with AS400 or similar inventory management systems
- Experience in retail or supplier management is a plus
- Knowledge of category management principles
- Ability to handle materials efficiently and safely
- Understanding of financial analysis related to inventory management
- Familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) operations
