• Works under direction of a Registered Nurse, licensed Physician, Dentist, Podiatrist, or Optometrist.
• Performs skilled practical nursing procedures and treatments (e.g., obtains vital statistics, applies oxygen, applies sterile dressing, inserts catheters; reinserts gastroscopy tubes, suctions, wound treatments, administers enemas, douches, obtains specimens, administers Enteral feedings, administers medications controlled and non-controlled to include oral, rectal, topical, inhalation, subcutaneous and intramuscular) Observes, documents and reports patient conditions and takes appropriate actions,
• Provides thorough and knowledgeable report of patient needs to RN/Physician.
• Provides patient teaching.
• Monitors patients during and as follow-up for procedures.
• Assists RN and Physician as needed.
• Responds to Emergencies, provides first aid, performs cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, uses and directs use of AED in emergency.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 43 per week
