Summary

Exercises an ongoing process of communication and guidance of the store's employees to ensure the quantity and quality of product pick up and production meets timelines established by the store manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Responsible for oversight and supervision of production and schedule requirements.

· Responsible for teaching job related skills and processes to new employees.

· Review, assess, and follow all work completed by facility employees, communicating observations to store manager.

· Provide guidance and intervention to employees.

· Serve customers by training staff and purchasing and displaying products.

· Trains store staff by reviewing and revising sales training materials, delivering training sessions, reviewing job performance and coaching needs with retail store manager, and developing and implementing new product training.

· Attracts customers by originating display ideas, following display suggestions or schedules, constructing or assembling prefabricated display materials, and creating merchandise displays in windows and showcases, and on the sales floor.

· Promotes sales by demonstrating merchandise and products to customers.

· Helps customers by providing information, answering questions, obtaining merchandise requested, completing payment transactions, and preparing merchandise for delivery.

· Keeps current inventory records by checking merchandise and anticipating customer demand.

· Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.

· Delivers quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

· Maintains clean and tidy workspace, including supervision of cleaning services.

Supervisory Responsibilities

· Keeps accurate time and attendance tracking of all employees.

· Provides constructive and timely performance assessments.

· Handles discipline of employees in accordance with company polices and with the direction of Store Manager.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education level.

• 18 years or older.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain certification in CPR/First Aid.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain Blood Borne Pathogens, Systemic Instruction Strategies, Abuse/Neglect, HIPAA,

Confidentiality, and Behavior training.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain Class E driver’s License.

• Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug test.

• Must pass a background check including criminal record and driving record.

• Ability to perform each essential duty and responsibility.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Exceptional teamwork and problem-solving abilities.

• Preferred: Experience working with people with developmental disabilities.

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and walking.

• Regularly required to talk or hear.

• Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms, occasionally above shoulder level.

• Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; this may be more with certain types of work assignments.
