Job Title: Java Developer with Spark

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with expertise in Spark for a 12-month contract position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and experience working with AWS services, particularly Lambda and Glue. Additionally, proficiency in Apache Spark for data pipeline development is essential. While not required, experience with Python is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Java applications.

Design, build, and optimize data pipelines using Apache Spark.

Utilize AWS services, including Lambda and Glue, to support application and data integration.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and improvements.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.

Requirements:

Strong experience with Java development.

Proficiency in Apache Spark for data pipeline development.

Experience with AWS services, particularly Lambda and Glue.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Python experience is a plus.
