Devgiri, an industry leading rug manufacturer, is looking for an Account Manager with 3-5 years of experience in retail account management. In this role, you will report to the VP of Account Management and will manage an existing retail customer portfolio. The preferred candidate has a background in home textiles and experience working with club stores. 

POSITION: ACCOUNT MANAGER

STRATEGIC CONTRIBUTIONS:

· Cultivate and maintain relationship with retail partners to foster communication, trust and dependability in the retailer/vendor relationship

· Prioritize flexibility and responsiveness in both external and internal communications

· Recognize and navigate potential roadblocks at key points in the sales cycle: development, production (quality) and post shipment

· Identify areas where Devgiri can gain market share and drive sales across multiple product categories

· Suggest internal process improvements to promote better management of strategic accounts

· Work with the India based merchant team and the NY based PM team to facilitate growth within accounts

· Provide suggestions to the Product Management (PM) team regarding whitespace opportunities (product, price points, aesthetics, performance, packaging, sustainability, marketing)

DAILY CONTRIBUTIONS:

· Facilitate and prepare communication to share with our retail partners

· Download weekly sales data and distribute to key stakeholders

· Manage program milestones tracker by liaising with our India based merchant team

· Provide shipping updates to customers

· Provide support for all e-com accounts (setup, copy, photography, customer email inquiries)

· Monitor weekly inventory flow reports for domestic ecom inventory

· Support market week preparations including collaborative strategy sessions with the NY Product Management (PM) team

· Update the customer contact list as retail partner contacts change

· Facilitate and prepare communication to share with our retail partners

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS:

· Full-time

· Hybrid (Midtown Office 2-3 times per week or as needed)

· Salary: $80-100k BOE

· 401(k) with 3% company match
