Dewberry has an immediate opening for an Environmental Department Manager for our Danville, VA office. This is an excellent career opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join our team of outstanding professionals.
The manager position should have knowledge of Waters of the U.S. Delineation and confirmation process, Section 404 and 401 permitting, Threatened and Endangered Species surveys, Cultural Resources identification and permitting, and compensatory mitigation. Other skill sets with respect to due diligence work including Phase 1 and 2 Environmental Site Assessments and environmental compliance monitoring of development sites including landfills is a plus.

Candidates should also have a strong background in supervising staff and technical experts, monitoring budgets, developing project plans, project monitoring, risk assessment, developing a positive working atmosphere, and being client-focused.
