Network Engineer
Network Engineer under direction of the Manager, IT Engineering acts as a subject matter expert for all network infrastructure and operations support for the networking environment. They will comfortably interact with all levels of technical and business organizational hierarchy and manage external vendors to facilitate the delivery of a consistent, reliable network environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The Network Engineer's role is to ensure the stability and integrity of data, video, voice over IP and wireless network services. This is achieved by planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), network security (firewalls, IDS, NAC) across the organization.
The Network Engineer will lead and participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links, and routing protocols. This individual will also monitor, analyze, and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training where required.
