Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our investment management team as a Scrum Master. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and facilitating the agile development process within our investment management teams. As a Scrum Master, you will work closely with the Product Owner, development team, and stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective delivery of investment management solutions. Your strong knowledge of scrum methodologies and investment management industry will be crucial in driving successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Scrum Master for investment management teams, facilitating daily scrums, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Coach and guide team members on agile principles, scrum practices, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to define and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring alignment with investment management goals
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, promoting open communication, transparency, and a culture of accountability
• Identify and help remove any obstacles or impediments that may hinder the progress of the investment management teams
• Monitor and track team progress, ensuring adherence to sprint goals, timelines, and quality standards
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between investment management teams and stakeholders, ensuring their requirements and expectations are understood and met
• Promote and support the adoption of agile best practices, tools, and techniques within investment management teams
• Continuously assess and improve the agile development process, identifying opportunities for optimization and implementing necessary changes
• Stay updated on industry trends, investment management practices, and emerging technologies to provide valuable insights and recommendations to the team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, finance, or business administration
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar agile certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Scrum Master or in a similar agile project management role, preferably in investment management or financial services
• Strong understanding of investment management processes, including portfolio management, trading, risk management, and compliance
• In-depth knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.) and practical experience in their implementation
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels. 7. Proven track record of successfully delivering projects in an agile environment, meeting time, budget, and quality expectations
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with keen attention to detail
