We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Construction Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and accounting skills, as well as excellent communication and organizational abilities. As an Accounting Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting department and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable
- Investigate issues and problems relative to subcontractors and employees that affect the operation of the Branch
- Generate Certified Payroll Reports for all federal jobs
- Responsible for assuring subcontractor payments, obtaining lien waivers
- Billings
- Assist with office events as needed
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative or accounting role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Billingual is a plus
- Notary is a plus
