Title - Lab technician

Duration- 12 months

Location- St Louis, MO

Pay Range- $25.00- $26.00/hr

Plant Biotechnology Transformation Team in St Louis is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and energetic individual to participate in the critical work of supporting R&D pipeline by supplying transgenic crops for testing.
The successful candidate will perform plant tissue culture tasks, inoculation with bacteria, sterile tissue transfer, transfer of plants to soil and data collection.
Responsibility also includes lab logistics support such as autoclaving, lab supplies preparation etc.
Desire to work within a team environment is essential.

Required Skills:
A bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, cellular biology, biotechnology or related field is required.

Experience working in a laboratory environment is highly desirable.
Attention to detail, database experience, ability to work in a team setting, and strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
Sterile technique experience is a plus.
