Our client is currently seeking a Staff Property Accountant to assist a Dallas based property management company with experience in commercial, residential, and multi family real estate.
Responsibilities
- Support budgeting process and prepare expense reconciliations with limited managerial direction
- Full cycle month end
- Assist in setting up new properties in Yardi
- Contribute to reviews of actual vs budget expenses variances
Qualifications
- 2 years of accounting experience within the real estate or property management sector.
- BA in Accounting
- Strong analytical skills with a good understanding of account receivables, payables, and tenant ledgers
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and effectively communicate with team members
- Yardi experience is preferred
- MUST HAVE COMMERCIAL, MULTIFAMILY REAL ESTATE, OR SINGLE FAMILY PROPERTY EXPERIENCE
Compensation
- Salary: $65,000-$75,000
- Full Benefits Medical/Dental/Vision/401k, etc
