Job Title: Repair Technician

Duration: 12 months with possible extension or conversion into full time permanent

Location: Portage MI 49002

Pay Range: USD 25 – 27 per hr.

Description:

• Performs in-house servicing and repair of company products at established company repair site or service center.
• Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software, and systems failures using established procedures.
• Performs maintenance, testing, and calibration of repaired products.
• Prepares reports for analysis of product failure trends and serviceability issues.
• May communicate with field-based technicians for details helpful to failure diagnostics or repair, but generally without direct client contact.
• Requires knowledge acquired through experience, specialized education, or training.
• Role has clearly defined procedures, tasks, and guidelines to aid in decision-making.
• Technical knowledge required is limited to tasks performed in own discipline area and is considered basic.
• Tasks are generally routine and manual.
• Expected to follow detailed and defined rules/instructions and make simple judgments in straightforward situations.
• Typically requires selecting between established solutions.
• Typically requires no experience.
