Job Title: Senior Database Lead

Worksite: Irving, TX (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months

Job Summary:

• This position involves overseeing the design, development, testing, release, maintenance, and technical support of data and reporting applications to ensure effective data services delivery.
• The Senior Database Lead will work closely with IT Infrastructure Services to meet server platform and security needs of data and reporting systems.
• This role primarily supports our application ecosystem, providing SME support for ETR applications and performing backend development tasks during each sprint.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support database objects in MS SQLSERVER/RDBMS databases or Big Data platforms.
• Design, create, modify, and remove database objects (tables, views, indexes, keys, stored procedures, functions, DB links, etc.) to support development projects.
• Implement and test database objects in non-production environments.
• Conduct performance review and tuning on pending, new, and production database objects.
• Serve as a data expert for migrating data from existing applications and database environments to new architectures.

Qualifications:

• Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, SSIS, and SSAS.
• Experience developing ETL processes for Data Warehouses/Data Marts.
• Strong knowledge of Data Warehouse design concepts – Star, Snowflake, etc.
• Experience developing data models and reports with industry-standard reporting tools.
• Knowledge of data integration and migration design and implementation, data management principles, and the architecture of Business Intelligence solutions.
