The Planning/Scheduling Supervisor will create, implement, and maintain new scheduling systems.

Schedule usage of production materials to ensure optimal production levels. Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage. Identify and resolve problems relating to inventory. Forecast market challenges based on competitor analysis and industry trends. Address issues regarding quality and production. Produce reports based on findings and performance of production. Manage deadlines based on project and customer expectations.

Requires Bachelors Degree in Materials/Logistics Planning or a comparable discipline and at least 3 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Outlook. MRP Planning experience required. Candidates must have attention to detail, problem-solving, decision-making skills, and knowledge of ocean and rail delivery lanes a plus. Must be able to read work instructions and other work documents, write production and quality information. Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills Expert Excel user (candidates will be tested). Ability to work well in a team environment.
