Shift and Time: Monday through Friday,7:00 am to 5:00 pm

Summary:

• Collaborate with the Technical Services Manager, Fabrication Estimator/Process Engineer, Fabrication Estimator, other Draftspersons, Fabrication Planner/Scheduler, Manufacturing Engineer(s), fence and permanent sign estimators, and administrative assistants.
• Use AutoCAD and/or Inventor to create shop drawings for fabricated items.
• Submit drawings to engineers/owners for approval.
• Make changes to drawings to meet client requirements.
• Visit customer sites and gather field measurements for shop drawings.
• Implement company standards and products.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• BS or associate degree in architectural Modeling and Design, Construction Management, Drafting, or related field from an accredited college is desired.
• Minimum two (2) years of directly related experience is a plus.
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with specialty fabrication, including custom gates, railings, steel, aluminum, and hardware is a plus.
• Hands on welding and fabrication experience a plus.
