DFC Company (Dakota Fence, 3D Specialties, Sign Solutions USA, Dakota Playground, Park & Play USA, Town & Country Fence, Dakota Unlimited and DFC Property Management) is a growing specialty contractor primarily involved in residential/commercial fence, highway guardrail, fabrication, and commercial playground construction, as well as traffic control and pavement marking services. We provide services to homeowners, commercial businesses, and government entities. Shift and Time: Day Shift, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm

Summary:

• Provide specialty fabrication estimates to customers.
• Meet with customers, contractors, and engineers to verify field measurements and understand project requirements.
• Guide customers through fabrication options and provide estimates based on their needs.
• Utilize AutoCAD to create shop drawings for fabrication approval.
• Conduct material take-offs and analyze blueprints and specifications for cost estimation.
• Maintain appointment calendar and manage follow-up for project conclusion.
• Prepare preliminary and detailed estimates based on project plans and specifications.
• Design and implement computer-aided design programs.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• BS or associate degree in Architectural Drafting, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college.
• Three years of AutoCAD experience required.
• Experience with bids and estimating is preferred.
• Welding and fabrication experience is preferred.
