Job Description:

The Leasing Associate will play a crucial role in maintaining high occupancy rates and ensuring the satisfaction of our tenants. This position involves marketing available units, conducting property tours, negotiating lease agreements, and fostering positive tenant relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Property Tours: Conduct tours of available units or spaces to prospective tenants, highlighting the features and benefits of the property.
• Marketing: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract potential tenants through various channels.
• Tenant Screening: Evaluate prospective tenants' applications, conduct background checks, and verify employment and rental history.
• Lease Negotiation: Negotiate lease terms and conditions with prospective tenants, ensuring agreements align with company policies.
• Lease Administration: Prepare lease agreements and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Tenant Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Move-In/Move-Out Coordination: Manage the move-in and move-out processes, including inspections and key distribution.
• Rent Collection: Collect rent payments, issue receipts, and manage delinquent accounts.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of lease agreements, tenant information, and financial transactions, generating reports as needed.
• Compliance: Ensure all leasing activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in leasing, property management, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent sales and customer service abilities.
• Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
