Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to work on-site in Reston, VA, Washington DC (JBAB), or College Park, MD. The ISSO will provides support for proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies for our government customer. They will maintain operational security posture for an information system to ensure information systems security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed.
Qualifications for the ISSO includes:

• Experience with security tools, hardware or software security implementation, communication protocols, and Encryption techniques or tools

• Experience with providing operational security guidance and information system validation using the National Institute of Standards and Technology Risk Management Framework and local security policies for application infrastructure

• Experience with supporting system security and authorization processes in accordance with NIST 800 series controls

• Experience with Authority to Operate package development

• Active TS Clearance with SCI eligibility; willingness to take a polygraph exam

• Bachelors Degree and 3 years of experience, or Associates degree and 5 years experience, or 7 years of alike experience with no degree

• DoD IAT Level II Certification

Compensation for the ISSO includes:

• Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 **depending on experience**
