Job Summary:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
To include but not limited to
1. Create a sales strategy to meet revenue objectives. Including sales plan, targeting strategy and
management to reach objectives. Generate and distribute sales reports (i.e. Prospects, Lead
Qualification, Demo/Meeting, Proposal, Commitment, Won/Scheduled, Post Sales Follow Up) to
management weekly and as needed.
2. Actively marketing VENUES and SELF.
3. Meet minimum outbound sales requirements of Email database collections per month (50)
4. Assist in developing a RGS database through networking and answering inquiries through web leads.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
6. Participate in weekly marketing requirements including but not limited to:
● Generate Email templates creatives using Flo-desk to deliver email blasts.
● Sharing of venues social posts onto their own channels for Branding and awareness.
● Posting and engaging (liking and commenting) with the venue's social media posts as
well as engaging with review sites such as Yelp.
● Outbound sales calls to concierge groups of Casino. Email sales kits to local Destination
Managers and others targets identified.
7. Responsible and accountable for managing through all phases of contracting events.
8. Assist clients with booking small groups and large groups, as well as full venue buyouts.
9. Field all sales inquiries for Large group and full venue buyouts.
10. Explain pricing and secure payment for events including deposits.
11. Consistently deliver exceptional customer service to every guest
12. Resolve any service issues promptly and professionally
13. Coordinate site visits for potential clients and groups.
14. Market and promote venues at local, national events and tradeshows.
15. Flexibility to perform other job related tasks as necessary Anticipating the clients ’ needs and
responding appropriately with a sense of urgency.
16. Effectively communicating with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and
address any issues or needs requested by clients and or other employees.
17. Following all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, department and County
health department
18. Generate and distribute Banquet Event Order (BEO) upon signing of contract to venue managers
and chef
19. Conforming to the department grooming standards, uniform or attire, and jewelry policy.
20. Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS: (Include equipment knowledge/use)
● Proven track record of meeting sales objectives and providing excellent customer service
● Experience in and ability to meet sales & marketing requirements outlined by management.
● Experience in and ability to meet social media requirements outlined by management.
● Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. and active participant in
social media
● Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
● Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team
● Must be able to obtain and maintain work cards required for this position at all times
● Must be able to work a flexible schedule
● Ability to work as part of a team in a high stress & a high-volume environment.
● Demonstrate experience and ability to work in a dynamic environment that includes frequent change
● Good communication skills; multilingual is a plus.
● Ability to read and write in English proficiently.
● 3 Year experience in marketing or group sales of restaurants and/or related experience in a
Retail or marketing internship or related university marketing course work preferred.
● Physically able to walk or stand without assistance on various surfaces for an extended period of
time.
● Professionally groomed in a manner consistent with department grooming standards.
● Extensive knowledge about food and wine and ability to confidently speak on and properly
serve such items.
● Knowledgeable about health and safety regulations.
● Must have oral and written English language skills.
● Must be 21 years of age to serve food and beverages in the State of Nevada.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,250.00 per year
