Title: Data Governance using Informatica CDGC Tool

Duration: 4-5 months

Location: ( Onsite from Day 1) Austin, TX (Preferably) OR Bay Area, CA.

Terms: Contract (C2C or 1099)

Tools Required: Informatica CDGC (is a must).

We are seeking a highly motivated and technical Data Governance Specialist to join our team and play a key role in implementing and maintaining our data governance practices using Informatica CDGC. You will leverage your expertise in these tools to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of our data assets.

Responsibilities:

Metadata extraction from the application like SFDC, Power BI, Oracle, Azure EDW etc., using Metadata command Center of CDGC.

Data profiling, Data Classification and Data discovery using CDGC.

Track and document data lineage using CDGC functionalities to understand the origin, flow, and transformation of data assets.

Migration of glossaries from Axon to CDGC. Bulk import of glossaries or assets into CDGC.

Configure and maintain data access controls within Informatica IDMC. This includes defining user roles, permissions, and data ownership assignments.

Build the workflows for change management process.

Develop and maintain data governance documentation specific to CDGC configurations, including policies, procedures, and user guides.

Build the data quality rules and integrate with CDGC.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience with EDC for data cataloging, classification, data quality management, and metadata management.

Minimum 5 years of experience with Axon for data lineage tracking, access control configuration, and user management.

Recent experience with IDMC Cloud Data Governance and Metadata Command Center.

Experience with IDQ or CDQ is plus.
