Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries is Hiring a Counselor (Family Life Services) Near Mechanicsburg, PA
- Responsible for developing and maintaining a professional and supportive relationship with youth and their families as well as providing therapeutic interventions.
- Acts as a liaison with youth, birth families, referring personnel, treatment providers, and others involved in the lives of children and youth.
- Works cooperatively with case managers and other treatment providers to meet needs and goals, as established in the Treatment Plan and other supervision.
- Conducts individual, couple, and/or family therapy sessions.
- Childline and DHS FBI clearance results are required prior to beginning employment.
- This position will be serving Perry County.
