Job Title: Bookkeeper and Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Type: Full-time

About Us:

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper and Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. As a vital member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, managing accounts receivable, and providing exceptional customer service.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy individual to manage our bookkeeping and accounts receivable functions. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in accounting software, and possess strong analytical skills. As a Bookkeeper and Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll

Processing and reconciling transactions, including invoices, payments, and credit memos

Managing and tracking customer accounts, including follow-up and collections efforts

Providing exceptional customer service to clients and internal stakeholders

Preparing and submitting financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll

Process and reconcile transactions, including invoices, payments, and credit memos

Develop and implement accounting procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency

Provide timely and professional customer service to clients and internal stakeholders

Prepare and submit financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices in bookkeeping and accounts receivable

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred

2 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounts receivable

Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

High level of attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with financial planning and budgeting

Knowledge of accounting standards

Certification in bookkeeping or accounting, such as QuickBooks Certified User or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Familiarity with cloud-based accounting software
