The team

You will contribute to our global Sales team by acquiring new customers, uncovering market opportunities, and getting the market talking about Dialpad! The global Sales team is made up of Sales Development, Channel, Enablement, SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise teams—all teeming with unbridled passion and grit. Our reps help businesses solve complex communications problems felt by everyone around the world.

About the team

Dialpad’s RVP, SMB Sales will lead and train a team of AEs to create qualified opportunities for our Sales team. In this role, you’ll be a source of knowledge and best practices to help the team meet and exceed expectations.

Dialpad’s SMB Sales team plays an essential role in pipelining and running the entire sales process for SMB prospects. This team collaborates closely with Sales Managers, Account Executives and Marketing to constantly improve closing ratios and customer experience.

Your role

As a RVP, SMB Sales you’ll ensure performance improvement of the AE team by providing coaching and feedback, as well as take on operational and administrative tasks to help the team exceed expectations. You’ll work closely with other SMB Sales Managers to identify areas of improvement for the AE team. In addition, you’ll help bring knowledge of interview processes and assist with hiring for all teams within the sales organization.

This position reports to our AVP, Commercial Sales and is based in our Austin, TX Office.

What you’ll do

  • Run a weekly team meeting and 1:1’s with your AEs, as well as bi-weekly coaching sessions.
  • Attend weekly leadership meetings.
  • Coach and evaluate your team’s skills, identify any gaps and use this knowledge to uplevel their abilities to run the sales process.
  • Accurately forecast weekly, monthly, and quarterly attainment.

Skills you’ll bring

  • 2-3 years of management experience 
  • Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo
