Diamond Braces is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager / HR Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for driving culture and engagement across our corporate teams and individual practice offices, partnering with leaders and managers to enhance the employee lifecycle while boosting employee efficiency and performance through robust talent management. This role serves as a front-line communicator, addressing the needs of our employees and ensuring a positive work environment. The ideal candidate should demonstrate proven experience in a multi-site environment and possess the capability to establish scalable, people-centered HR practices. 
This position is In-Person based in our Englewood, NJ office.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and implement strategies to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Organize employee engagement initiatives, including team-building activities, recognition programs, and events
  • Act as a liaison between management and employees to address concerns and maintain open communication channels
  • Serve as the voice of HR to senior leadership, actively influencing and recommending policy and operational changes to ensure scalable growth while effectively addressing employee needs
  • Partner with leaders, managers, recruitment team, and L&D to execute effective recruitment and onboarding processes that meet the current and anticipated needs of the business
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions; Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations
  • Develop robust employee retention strategies
  • Administer and assist with performance management and evaluation processes, monitoring performance towards defined goals
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns
  • Communicate HR policies, procedures, and initiatives effectively to all employees
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations; maintain current knowledge of industry trends on business leadership, employment practices, and future of HR
  • Develop and provide HR policy guidance and interpretation, maintain updates to HR policies and Employee Handbook
