Pleasant, Texas, Diamond C Trailers is a family owned and operated business offering a robust lineup of innovative, feature-rich trailers, ranging from utility and car- hauler models to dump trailers and gooseneck models for heavy-duty equipment/machinery. Responsibilities:

• Operate overhead crane to unload raw materials from incoming transport trailers and load finished goods onto transport trailers.
• Use overhead cranes to load raw material from inventory locations in the plant to the material conveyors.
• Read and understand work orders, blueprints, written and verbal instructions to ensure job specifications are met.
• Measure and cut raw materials to spec using a hand plasma cutter to assist in production of engineered beams.
• Operate forklift and other pieces of equipment to unload other production materials such as consumables, gas, and empty scrap bins.
• Maintain equipment and tooling by performing basic preventive maintenance and proper tool storage including replacing consumables when needed.
• Reports any equipment failure or maintenance issues to Production Leadership on the maintenance team.
• Follow any and all GMPs and safety procedures at all times.
• Perform other job duties and responsibilities as needed by Production Leadership.
• Maintain a clean organized work space.
• Use computer to input production updates and check prints as needed. < 10%
• Use building materials, wood and steel racking to maintain an organized inventory area.

Qualifications:

• Overhead crane experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of hand tools such as a tape measure, hand plasma, speed square, etc.
• Basic computer skills,google sheets, excel spreadsheets, etc.
• Ability to multitask, think critically to resolve problems on the production floor while maintaining high quality.
