Diamond Fire is Hiring a Wildland Firefighter Near , OR

OPENINGS FOR SEASONAL WILDLAND FIREFIGHTERS

“DIAMOND FIRE” has openings for Seasonal Wildland Firefighters!

We have been in business since 1980 and have locations in Sutherlin Oregon, Central Point Oregon, Klamath Falls Oregon, Northern California, and Northeast Washington.

We provide 20 – Person Fire Crews, Wildland Fire Engines, and Other Resources to fight Wildland Fires across the Western United States. If you like to travel and want to see the country, to help save homes, lives, and our natural resources then “this is the job for you”!

We Welcome Experienced Firefighters, FFT1, Crew and Engine Bosses, however, “NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY” to apply.

We offer all required training. Must complete all required training before hired. Must be 18 years of age at time of hire. Must be willing to travel and we provide the transportation for fire related incidents. This is a seasonal and on-call position. The Wildland Fire Season typically begins in June and runs through October. Once called be prepared to work up to 15 hours per day, up to 7 days per week, and up to 14 days per assignment. We are an Equal Opportunity Workplace. Drugs and Alcohol are not permitted in the workplace.

The Process:

1. Call to schedule an Interview and complete an application.

2. A background check may be performed.

3. Upon acceptance you will be scheduled for a training class and a timed physical fitness test consisting of carrying 45 lbs. for a 3-mile hike.

4. After training and physical fitness test are passed you are then eligible to be hired as a Wildland Firefighter.

For Medford Oregon, Klamath Falls Oregon, Northern California Area, Roseburg Oregon, and Eugene Oregon Areas.
